How does it work?

How many will I need?

The number of treatments required varies depending on the thickness and amount of fat needed to be removed. A minimum of 3 sessions is usually required and are spaced out at 7-14 days.

Clients within 15% of their ideal body weight can expect to see noticeable results with a minimum of 3 sessions, depending on their body and lifestyle, but occasionally may need more.

Clients who are in excess of 15% of their ideal body weight may need to have more sessions to have noticeable results, at least 3-6 treatments, but may need more.

Results can sometimes start to be visible from your first session and results will continue to develop throughout the course. The best results are often seen between 21-45 days.

What to expect at the appointment?

Accepted Answer

You will have a thourough consultation to determine suitablitly and any questions answered.
Measurements are then taken as well as photos to track your progress. Lemonbottle will then be administered in the area. It is painless and there is no to minimal swelling afterwards.

It can feel a little uncomfortable briefly, but the procedure is quick and generally well-tolerated.

As it is an injectable there might be some bruising in the area afterwards.

A follow-up treatment or review will be booked in 7-10 days.

What is the pre-treatment advice?

• Avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine for 24 hours before. These substances can dehydrate the body and increase bruising.
 • Avoid blood-thinning medications such as ibuprofen for 24 hours before, unless advised to by your medical provider.
 • ​If you take aspirin, speak to your medical provider about whether they recommend pausing them prior to treatment for 3 days.
 • Drink 1-2 ltrs of water a day for 1 week before treatment, especially when treating larger areas such as abdomen.
 • On the day of your treatment, keep the skin clean and free of any lotions or perfumes
 • Minimise direct sun exposure and avoid tanning beds for a week prior to your treatment.

What is the aftercare advice?

Aftercare is key to minimising the risk of infection. Please keep the area treated area clean.
 • Drink at least half a litre of water immediately after the treatment. Continue to drink 1.5-2ltrs of water per day, throughout the course to help the body remove the excess waste - IMPORTANT.
 • Fast until the evening of the day of treatment & the full morning of the next day after treatment. If you are unable to do this opt for a light snack, low-fat and low-carbohydrate (such as a salad). Arm/chin areas do not require any fasting.
This will help to decompose & discharge unused fat in the body, reducing the size of fat cells.
 • Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the injected area for 24 hours.
 • There may be itching, stinging, redness, or warmth in the treatment area post-treatment. This may last between a few hours to a few days.
 • Swelling and bruising are normal and can reside for several days post-treatment.
 • After the initial 24hrs, it's important to massage the area regular to increase blood flow and speed up metabolic rate in area
 •  Massage in Arnica gel/cream. It stimulates your body’s natural healing process and facilitates blood flow through the area. It is a safe and effective method of alleviating pain and reducing swelling or bruising. Limit application to 2-3 times per day. 
 • There is a high content of B vitamins so your urine can appear yellow after the treatment, this is temporary.
 • If the face was treated avoid makeup for 24 hours 
 • Avoid exercise for 24 hours, as the area needs to stay clean and free of excess sweat. and to prevent migration of the injected solution.
 • Avoid hot baths/saunas for 48 hours after treatment.
 • Avoid sun/tanning beds for 1 week to reduce the chance of hyperpigmentation and use a SPF 30/50.
 • Alcohol should be avoided for 7 days, caffeine intake should be minimal,
 • Follow a low-fat and low-carbohydrate diet and regular light exercise to get the best results.
 • Avoid any other aesthetic treatments for 2 weeks.
 • Any tweezing, waxing, facial hair tinting, or eyelash curling should be done 1-week post-procedure.
 • Compression garments can be worn to enhance the effects of the treatments for short periods of time after.

Potential Side-effects?

Clients will typically experience zero to minimal side effects when compared to more invasive procedures such a liposuction, or even with other acid-based fat dissolve products.

You may notice temporary whiteness, blanching, redness, tenderness, itching, lumps, or bumps around the area. This is quite normal and will subside within a few hours.
Bruising can occur at each injection point, which should subside within one week.
The area may feel numb and slightly swollen for a couple of hours. The swelling should subside within two days.
Occasionally nodules may be felt under the skin for up to 5 days where the product was placed.​​

 • Dermal Fillers - Please wait for four weeks after your dermal filler treatment.
 • Cold Sores - wait until completely cleared and use an anti-herpetic cream on the affected area 5 days before your treatment.
 • Roaccutane - Please wait at least six months after your last use of this medication before having these treatments.
 • Surgery at the site to be treated - Please wait at least 12 months after your surgery to allow the skin to fully heal before these treatments.
