Advanced Carbon Laser Peel
A firm favourite with celebrities. We use a filter specific to help reduce pigmentation on our Nd:YAG laser.
The energy penetrates deeply into the dermis stimulates and regenerates new collagen and elastin fibres, as well as helping to reduce pigmentation and age spots, plumping the skin and reducing fine lines.
Ideal for age 40+, ageing skin with pigmentation.
A minimum of 6 treatments are recommended, with an interval of 4 weeks in-between.

After the skin is thououghly cleansed a carbon paste is then applied.
The carbon bonds with any debris that might be present within the skin, such as dead skin cells, blocked pores, contaminants, and oil.
Eyes are protected. The Laser is passed over the surface of the skin.
.The laser pushes the energy, in the form of heat, deep into the layers of skin where elastin and collagen are activated, and cells begin to be renewed, the carbon is vaporised along with any dirt, oil and dead skin cells. We target age-spots and hyperpigmentation to help fade them with each appointment.
A soothing hydrogel-based mask containing hyaluronic acid and beta-glucan (β -GLUCAN) is then applied. It’s an innovative product that does not contain any parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. The mask formula has been developed specifically for post-laser application.
Skin is protected and SPF applied if appropriate.
Yes we use a specific wavelength to target hyper-pigmentation. Results show with a course of treatments.
It is suitable for acne on the face or body, reducing P.A bacteria, but not suitable for very active/pustular acne, we recommended the IPL treatment.
Noticeable results can be experienced after a single treatment. For maximum results, at least 6 treatments are recommended, with an interval 4 weeks in-between
A longer course of treatments will stimulate new cell regeneration by encouraging the growth of collagen and elastin fibres, producing firmer, plumper skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Westfield Clinic requires you to complete a short Medical Questionnaire at the time of booking as some health conditions or medications prohibit you from laser treatments and would be unsafe for you at that time. It is important for the effectiveness of the treatment that you are generally fit and well and that your immune system is not compromised.
This treatment requires that you have a consultation and patch test. The treatment will be discussed fully and a series of 3 small patch tests (at various energies) will be carried out, enabling the correct parameters to be established and check your skin's tolerance to light. Full treatment can then commence 3-14 days later following no adverse reactions.
