Chemical Peel
Chemical peels, also known as derma peels, harness the power of naturally occurring acids and active ingredients to deeply exfoliate and brighten the skin. The treatment stimulates new cell growth and collagen production, helping to reveal fresher, clearer, brighter skin.
Chemical peels are the oldest form of rejuvenation. The Egyptians, and in particular Queen Cleopatra, were famously known to bathe in sour milk to improve the look and texture of the skin. Today, we know that sour milk contains lactic acid, a naturally occurring AHA. AHA and BHA's have been around since the 70's.
Peels are not like they were years ago, your skin does not 'peel' after (unless you opt for a deep 'medical' peel).
A superficial peel is ideal before aesthetic and facial treatments and is suitable for all Fitzpatrick and sensitive skin types.

As we grow older, the cycle of new skin growth slows, meaning our cellular turnover is much slower, and less collagen and elastin are produced.
Exposure to UV light and inadequate UV protection over the years. also plays a big part in all aspects of skin aging, including fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots (pigmentation).
Applying creams and serums on your face may succeed to moisturise the outer layer of dead skin, but no penetration takes place to the living part of the skin.
Chemical peels go deeper, promoting new skin cell growth, removing dead outer cells, allowing for better absorption of products, and aiding in aesthetic treatments.
Chemical peels lower your skins PH, slightly making skin more acidic, (acidic skin ages slower), and improve your skins barrier function.
Peels are designed to exfoliate your skin and encourage it to renew itself by creating fresh new skin cells. They also stimulate the skin’s natural collagen production to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Skin peel treatments use acids and enzymes to exfoliate away layers of the skin to reveal fresher, clearer, more youthful-looking skin beneath the surface.
The powerful blend of ingredients in skin peels works to reduce the appearance of open pores, remove dead skin cells, target blemishes, acne, and pigmentation, and visibly smooth fine lines and wrinkles. The procedure is used all over the world to treat skin conditions such as fine lines and wrinkles, acne, hyperpigmentation and sun damage.

It brightens, boosts skin cell regeneration which helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, neutralise's free radicals - which can attack healthy cells through sun exposure and pollution, anti-microbial - therefore helpful with acne. Smaller molecular weight so absorbs deeper. Combined with other active ingredients listed below, it reinforces the effects, improves tolerance and overall results.

Glycolic Acid - AHA derived from cane sugar, with the smallest molecular weight which will penetrate the deeper layers. Brightens skin, unclog pores, increases cellular turnover, improves fine lines, treats acne, and hyperpigmentation, boosts collagen production, skin elasticity improved, hydrates, reduces inflammation and gives the skin a soft, supple feel.
