This treatment is not suitable for patients with: Pacemaker or bio-medical implants, auto-immune diseases, pregnancy, bleeding abnormalities, or if taking blood-thinning medication. A doctor's note is required for conditions including thyroid, heart, liver, kidney disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure. You may experience mild heat and slight redness in the treated area, though this usually settles relatively quickly.    Immediately after treatment Skin may feel warm, tight, or mildly sensitive for up to 24–48 hours Mild redness is normal and should settle within a few hours to 2 days Slight swelling or pinpoint redness can occur in some clients   If redness, swollen or sensitivity occurs Apply a cool (not ice-cold) compress for short intervals regularly if needed Use a gentle, bland moisturiser (e.g. fragrance-free, non-active formula) ideally aloe vera, kept in the fridge so that it is cool as it will reduce inflammation. Even if scabs can be itchy, control the urge to scratch them and refrain from picking. Scabs are indicators that the skin beneath isn’t fully healed. If you keep on trying to remove them, the newly forming cells will be exposed, which may lead to scarring. If itching persists, gently apply aloe Vera on the scabs. We recommend a course of 8 or more. It should be noted that each person will react slightly differently to the treatment, whilst some may reach their desired outcome after 8 treatments, others may require a course of 10 treatments or more. ​ Treatments can be spaced 2-4 weeks apart. Or if you are having with microneedling, every 4 weeks. A maintenance treatment twice a year will provide optimum results. ​

Invisible radio wave energy is passed harmlessly and painlessly through the skin and gradually heats up the tissue and the extracellular matrix where the collagen fibres are embedded. Heating in the deeper dermis, to a constant 38°- 45°, stimulates fibroblast action (fibroblasts are the connective tissue cells that produce collagen and elastin). In turn, this increases the synthesis of new collagen production and elastin remodelling. Local heating causes an immediate contraction of collagen fibres, and at the same time increases the metabolism of the fibroblasts, thereby accelerating the production of new collagen and elastin fibres.
