Super-Sculpt Cavitation

A course of 6–10 sessions is a suggested starting point, depending on the area being treated, your individual goals and how you respond to treatment. Some clients may benefit from additional sessions, which we can discuss as we review your progress.Aim for 1-2 treatments a week.You must wait a minimum of 3 days between sessions. When cavitation breaks down fat cells, they turn into liquid triglycerides that your lymphatic system, liver, and kidneys must filter out. Your body needs at least 72 hours to safely process and eliminate this waste.As Super Sculpt is a targeted treatment, only one area is treated for a maximum of 30 minutes per session. Your treatment plan will be tailored to your individual needs, and results vary from person to person..

Cellulite is the dimpled, uneven appearance of the skin that commonly occurs on the thighs, hips, buttocks and abdomen. It develops through the interaction between the fatty tissue beneath the skin and the fibrous connective tissue bands that link the skin to deeper tissues.These connective tissue bands can pull the skin downwards in certain areas, while the underlying fat pushes upwards, creating the characteristic lumpy or dimpled appearance often described as “orange-peel skin”.Cellulite is very common and harmless, and it can affect people of all shapes and sizes. Although it is more common in women, it is not simply caused by excess body fat. Genetics, hormones, age, skin elasticity and the structure of the connective tissue can all influence how visible it is.Weight gain may make cellulite more noticeable, but even people who are slim and physically active can have it.The appearance of cellulite can sometimes be improved with cosmetic treatments, although results vary and treatments cannot guarantee its complete removal.

Super Sculpt is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that combines several technologies, including ultrasonic cavitation, ultrasound, radiofrequency (RF), vacuum therapy and vibration massage. These technologies are used to target specific areas of the body and help improve the appearance of skin firmness and body contours.Ultrasonic cavitationThe 80K ultrasonic cavitation uses adjustable ultrasonic sound-wave energy to target subcutaneous fatty tissue. This technology can target localised fatty deposits as part of a body contouring treatment. UltrasoundUltrasound technology delivers low-frequency energy into the skin, producing a warming and vibrational effect within the tissue to heat and vibrate the adipose fat cells, encouraging them to break down, allowing fatty acids and triglycerides to gently drain into the body's lymphatic system.Radiofrequency (RF)Radiofrequency generates heat within the treated tissue. This controlled warming is used in cosmetic treatments intended to help stimulate collagen production and improve the appearance of skin firmness and texture. The RF is combined with vacuum therapy simultaneously.Vacuum therapyVacuum therapy uses controlled suction and massage movements which help to stimulate circulation and support lymphatic drainage (encourage removal of toxins), which can assist in reducing fluid retention and improving the overall appearance of the treated area. Vibration massage and red lightVibration with red light to complement the Super Sculpt treatment. The massage action works on the treated area,  while red light is commonly used in cosmetic treatments to support the appearance of skin quality and texture.

Following the post-treatment aftercare and having 'realistic expectations' when opting for non-surgical treatments is essential. A medical history will be taken to check suitability before treatment can begin. This treatment is not suitable for clients with: Pregnancy or breastfeeding Active cancer or undergoing cancer treatment Pacemaker or other implanted electronic devices (for RF treatments) Severe or uncontrolled medical conditions (unless medically cleared) Autoimmune disorders (depending on severity and medical advice) Blood clotting disorders or history of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) Current use of strong anticoagulant (blood thinning) medication Clients with the following conditions may require medical approval before treatment: Heart conditions or cardiovascular disease High or low blood pressure (uncontrolled) Diabetes (especially uncontrolled) Thyroid disorders Liver or kidney disease Epilepsy Skin conditions in the treatment area (active infection, inflammation, open wounds) Recent surgery (generally within 6–12 weeks, depending on healing) Metal implants in the treatment area (depending on device type and protocol) Treatment should be postponed if the client has: Fever, illness, or infection Sunburn in the treatment area Broken or irritated skin Menstruation with discomfort (optional depending on area treated and client sensitivity) All clients will be required to complete a consultation form prior to treatment. It is essential to disclose any medical conditions, medications, or recent health changes to ensure safe and appropriate treatment.

Following your treatment, it’s important to support your body’s natural processes to help optimise your results.The treatment works by targeting fat within the area, which is then processed naturally by the body over time. Staying active and well hydrated can help support this process. What to expect after treatmentYou may experience mild warmth, redness, tenderness, or be slightly swollen in the treated area. This is normal and typically settles within a few hours to a couple of days If redness or swelling occursAvoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated areaApply a cold compress or wrapped ice pack if neededUse up to 3–4 times daily in short intervalsAloe vera (kept in the fridge) to help to soothe the skinLight bruising is a possibility and will fade gradually over the coming days – avoid massaging aggressively over bruised areas. Heat & sun exposure (first 48 hours)Avoid excessive heat, including:Hot baths or showersSaunas and steam roomsDirect sun exposureOnce the skin has settled, apply SPF to protect the area. Hydration & lifestyle (first 72 hours)Aim to keep well hydrated, around 2 litres of water daily to support the body’s natural processesAvoid alcohol, as it may contribute to dehydration and slow recoveryLimit caffeine, fizzy drinks, and high-fat foodsA continued healthy, balanced diet can help support your results Exercise & lymphatic supportAim for at least 20 minutes of light exercise after treatments (e.g. brisk walking)Continue regular movement in the following days, this helps to support circulation. In the unlikely event of skin irritation or scabbing:Do not pick or scratch the area.Allow the skin to heal naturally, or use a skin healing cream like Aquaphor.Apply soothing products such as cool aloe vera if needed. Ongoing careMaintain a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and balanced nutrition, to help optimise resultsInform your practitioner of any changes to your health or medications before your next appointment

Following consultation, photographs are taken of the area to document progress and are kept in-line with our privacy policy in your file. Ultrasound gel is then applied to the area, and the following procedures take place:What does Super Sculpt feel like?Super Sculpt is generally a comfortable treatment, although you will notice different sensations as each technology is used.During the 80K ultrasonic cavitation part of your treatment, you may feel a gentle vibration or buzzing sensation as the handpiece moves over the treated area.You may also notice a high-pitched ringing, buzzing or whining sound that can seem as though it is coming from inside your ear. This is a normal sensation that some clients experience during ultrasonic cavitation.The sound is produced by the ultrasonic energy from the cavitation handpiece. Some of the sound and vibration can be transmitted through the tissues and perceived by the ear, which can make the sound seem surprisingly loud or unusual. It is generally temporary and is most noticeable while the cavitation handpiece is in contact with the treatment area. It should reduce or stop when the handpiece is moved away.During Radio-Frequency (RF), you will feel a pleasant, controlled warmth as the skin and underlying tissue are gently heated. The temperature is monitored throughout the treatment to keep the experience comfortable.Vacuum therapy creates a rhythmic suction sensation as the skin is gently drawn into the handpiece. You may feel pulling or pressure as the handpiece moves over the area. Temporary redness or mild bruising can sometimes occur following vacuum treatment.The vibrational massage handpiece provides a massage-like sensation with adjustable vibration and warmth. Depending on the area being treated and the settings used, it may feel gently stimulating or deeply relaxing.You should always tell your practitioner if anything feels uncomfortable, painful or unusually intense so that the treatment can be adjusted.

If you have recently had a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), we recommend waiting a minimum of 12 weeks after surgery before having Super-Sculpt treatment, regardless of which area of the body is being treated.This allows your body sufficient time to recover from the surgery before undergoing additional treatments.Written clearance from your surgeon is required before treatment (regardless of the area). Your recovery and any post-operative complications will also need to be taken into consideration. Treatment should be postponed if you are experiencing significant swelling, pain, wound-healing problems, infection or other complications.If you have had any additional procedures at the same time as your tummy tuck, please let us know, as this may affect your suitability for treatment.Your surgeon's advice always takes priority, as recovery times vary from person to person.
